asked the Minister for Agriculture and Fisheries if he will state, in respect of each year since the inception of the Export Guarantee Scheme, the amount paid out by (a) the Irish Exchequer and (b) the British Exchequer in relation to Irish beef exports.

asked the Minister for Agriculture and Fisheries if he will state, in respect of each year since the inception of the Export Guarantee Scheme, the amount paid out by (a) the Irish Exchequer and (b) the British Exchequer in relation to Irish mutton and lamb.

With your permission, a Cheann Comhairle, I propose to take Questions Nos. 33 and 34 together. I will circulate in the Official Report a table setting out the information requested.

Can the Parliamentary Secretary say if there has been a substantial increase in the contribution by the Irish Exchequer in relation to beef exports, and if there has been any contribution by the Irish Exchequer in relation to mutton and lamb exports over the period?

As I said, I will circulate the information required by the Deputy in the Official Report.
