Vol. 254 No. 14

Ceisteanna — Questions. Oral Answers. - Telephone Kiosks.

157.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs if a telephone kiosk will be erected at Cloonfad, County Roscommon.

Provision of a kiosk at Cloonfad is not considered warranted at present but one will probably be provided there under the five year programme for extension of kiosk facilities in rural areas.

158.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs if, following the conversion of the local exchange to automatic working, arrangements will be made for the erection of a telephone kiosk in Glasson village, Athlone, County Westmeath.

The call office telephone in Glasson post office is little used and the provision of a street kiosk there is not contemplated at present.
