Vol. 257 No. 8

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Finglas (Dublin) Home.

23.

asked the Minister for Health whether he has received any proposals from the Eastern Health Board regarding St. Helena's Home, Finglas, Dublin; if he will give details of the proposed services and how soon they may be available.

I have approved of proposals of the Eastern Health Board to set up a home at St. Helena's, Finglas for the short or medium term care of children aged nine months to ten years arising from factors such as illness of a parent or a temporary family breakdown. It is also proposed to operate at a later date a day nursery. It is expected that the home will be opened early in 1972.
