asked the Taoiseach if he will state the trading figures for 1972 between this country and (a) the USSR and (b) the People's Republic of China.

(a) imports from the USSR were valued at £2,528,000 in 1972 while exports amounted to £234,000; (b) in 1972 imports from the People's Republic of China were valued at £1,331,000 and exports to that country for the same year amounted to £3,600.
