asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if he has any plans for new industries in Tipperary town; and, if not, if he will consider this area as one of high priority.

I am informed by the Industrial Development Authority that the advance factory under construction in Tipperary has been provisionally reserved for a manufacturing firm which has expressed an interest in occupying it.

The IDA have also purchased 11 acres of land for industrial development in Tipperary town.
