asked the Minister for Education if it is proposed to build a new primary school at Eglinton, Douglas Road, Cork; and, if so, the present position in the matter.

My Department has agreed to the erection of a new 16 classroom school to replace the existing Eglinton NS. The manager has been authorised to engage an architect to prepare sketch plans in respect of the new school.

asked the Minister for Education if it is proposed to provide prefabricated classrooms at Curraheen national school, Bishopstown, County Cork; and, if so, the present position in the matter.

My Department has given sanction for the erection of 4 prefabricated classrooms at Bishopstown Boys' School, Curraheen Road, Cork. The school manager has been authorised to engage his own architect to make the necessary arrangements for their erection.
