asked the Taoiseach the latest available figures of trade with the USSR, the Republic of South Africa, Rhodesia and Chile.

In the period January/August, 1973, trade with the USSR amounted to £1.9 million imports and £0.3 million exports; in the case of the Republic of South Africa imports were £2.7 million and exports £2.3 million while the corresponding figure for trade with Chile was £0.1 million imports and £2.8 million exports. There was no trade with Southern Rhodesia.
