My visit to the United Nations from 24th September to 4th October last was in the normal course of annual attendance by Ministers for Foreign Affairs at the General Assembly of the Organisation.
I addressed the Assembly on 24th September and my speech was reported in the Press on the following day. The full text of my address is available in the Dáil Library.
In the course of the visit I had the opportunity of having talks with the Foreign Ministers of a number of other countries who were also present at the Session and with the Secretary General of the United Nations.
