Vol. 274 No. 10

Written Answers. - Old Age Pension.

98.

asked the Minister for Social Welfare if he will arrange for the payment of a full non-contributory old age pension to a person (name supplied) in County Cork.

The decision of the pension sub-committee of 28th June, 1974, allowing the person concerned a partial pension was subject to appeal within 21 days. If the person now appeals the time will be extended and the question submitted to an appeals officer, whose function it is to determine such questions where the claimant is dissatisfied with the original decision.
