Vol. 274 No. 10

Written Answers. - Disability Benefit.

97.

asked the Minister for Social Welfare if he will arrange for the payment of disability benefit to a person (name supplied) in County Cork for the entire duration of the period he was out of work.

The person referred to by the Deputy claimed and was awarded injury benefit under the Social Welfare (Occupational Injuries) Act, 1966. All benefit due for the entire period he was out of work has been paid to him. Due to an incorrect address being used, a cheque was not delivered to him on the due date. The cheque has however since been reissued to the correct address.
