asked the Minister for Finance if new carpets for the entrance hall, the upper hall and stairs in the embassy in Washington have been supplied and fitted.

New carpets for the entrance hall, the upper hall and stairs in the Embassy Chancellery in Washington have been supplied and fitted.

asked the Minister for Finance if the furnishings in the residence of the Ambassador in Washington are now considered to be satisfactory; and if the problem of warped furniture has been rectified.

The furnishings in the embassy residence in Washington were inspected recently and are now satisfactory.
