asked the Minister for Education when work will start on the new school at Ballynarry, County Cavan.

Tenders and bills of quantities in respect of the new central school at Ballynarry, County Cavan, are at present being examined by the Commissioners of Public Works.

I am not yet in a position to state when building work will commence.

Has the Minister settled the question of how many rooms will be in this school?

Yes.

How many?

There will be five rooms together with a general purposes room and a kitchen.

asked the Minister for Education when work will start on the new school at Crosskeys, County Cavan.

Mr. R. Burke

Revised sketch plans prepared by the manager's architect for the proposed new central school at Crosskeys, County Cavan have been approved by the Commissioners of Public Works.

It is not possible at this stage to say when the work on the erection of the school may commence.

When were the revised plans finished and accepted by the Commissioners?

Mr. R. Burke

They were submitted to the Office of Public Works only in the last few weeks and we have been advised that they were satisfactory. They were declared satisfactory on 26th March, 1975.
