Vol. 281 No. 1

Written Answers. - Retirement Pension.

269.

asked the Minister for Social Welfare if he will arrange to have a retirement pension paid to a person (name supplied) in County Cork.

Pension entitlements of the person concerned in view of his employment in Britain fall to be determined in this country and in Britain under EEC regulations. Pending final determination of his entitlements, he has been awarded by my Department a provisional pension of £13.60 a week in respect of himself and his wife from 27th March, 1975, increased to £16.75 a week from 3rd April, 1975. Pension books to enable him to receive payment of pension were issued to him on the 16th May, 1975.
