Following the decision to re-establish a Garda Station at Rockcorry several premises were inspected. Accommodation which was regarded as suitable for renting was located but before letting could be completed the owner withdrew. Other premises are now being examined but at the moment I am not in a position to say if any of them would be suitable. Failing the acquisition of an existing building the question of the erection of a new station will be considered as a matter of urgency.
