Can the Minister say whether the Army are providing facilities for certain members of the defence forces to train for athletic competitions?
During my time in office the amount of money expended for this activity has increased from £2,000 per annum to £15,000 per annum. Also, we have done everything possible to encourage sports in the Army. The previous administration did nothing in this regard.
If the Minister had not said that I might have congratulated him on what he has done.
