Vol. 288 No. 7

Written Answers. - Cattle Headage Grants.

48.

asked the Minister for Agriculture and Fisheries if he is aware of the grave concern of farmers in south Kerry and west Cork who have not yet been paid the cattle headage grants; the cause of the long delay in making payment; and when all the outstanding grants will be paid.

The great majority of grants due in these two counties have now been paid. Most of those still outstanding are cases requiring special inquiry and will be dealt with as quickly as possible.
