asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs the number of lines that will be available for new telephone connections in the Firhouse, County Dublin, area up to 31st December, 1977.
It is proposed, with the permission of the Ceann Comhairle, to take Questions Nos. 16 and 17 together.
It is expected that over 1,100 applications for telephones will be attended to in the Tallaght area during 1977. This includes 200 existing applications in the Firhouse area and 450 existing applications in the remainder of the Tallaght exchange area.
