Vol. 296 No. 12

Written Answers. - Offaly County Hospital.

69.

asked the Minister for Health if he will make arrangements to have the laboratory staff in the County Hospital, Tullamore, County Offaly, increased to its former number.

I understand that due to illness and maternity leave the laboratory at the County Hospital, Tullamore, is at present understaffed, despite the health board's efforts to secure temporary replacements. The health board hope to improve the staffing position in Tullamore as a result of a recent competition held for the appointment of laboratory technicians.
