Vol. 297 No. 4

Written Answers. - Farmers' Valuations.

50.

asked the Minister for Local Government if the Valuation Office will differentiate between house valuation and out-office valuation in the case of farmers as they maintain there is no information available in the office documents from which a separate valuation for different buildings can be calculated and that it is not the practice to give a breakdown of building valuations except where required by statute; and if he is aware that this practice means that some farmers cannot get reconstruction grants, as in the case of a person (details supplied) in County Meath.

I shall have the position examined in association with the Commissioner of Valuation.
