Vol. 298 No. 5

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - County Cork Toilets.

21.

asked the Minister for Local Government when work will be completed on the construction of the public toilets in Allihies, West Cork.

22.

asked the Minister for Local Government the present position regarding the proposed public convenience for Ballydonegan strand, near Allihies, West Cork.

With the permission of the Ceann Comhairle, I propose to take Questions Nos. 21 and 22 together.

The planning and design of public toilets is primarily a local authority responsibility. I understand from Cork County Council that work on the scheme at Allihies has been completed and that plans for the scheme at Ballydonegan strand are being prepared.
