I am aware of this need. I visited Wexford County Hospital on 15th October and saw the present situation. At a meeting between my Department and officers of the health board at the hospital on 25th October, a plan for the improvement of the theatres was agreed. The technical details of this are now being completed by the board's advisers. It is my intention that work on the new facilities will start early in the new year.
