The report on the hydraulic model investigation carried out at the Hydraulics Research Station at Wallingford indicated that, subject to some design modifications which are at present being carried out, the development scheme proposed by CIE is feasible. Consultation about the project is proceeding with other Departments and agencies involved and I will make an announcement in the matter as soon as possible.
