I have been informed by the Industrial Development Authority that the authority have commissioned a consultant to undertake a study of the suitability for industrial development of a site which has been identified in the Bantry area. The consultant's report has now been completed and the authority expect to make a decision within a few weeks concerning the acquisition of the site.
