It is not clear what announcement the Deputy refers to. Motor insurance premium rates are subject to the Prices Acts and all increases must have the prior consent of the Minister for Industry, Commerce and Energy.
With regard to the PMPA insurance company, the Deputy will now be aware that this company have been granted a premium rate increase with effect from 1 March 1978.
