asked the Minister for the Environment if he will make funds available to complete Augatubricil, County Kerry, group water scheme.

This scheme is known as the Direen Upper/Aghatubrid group water supply scheme. Work on the scheme is progressing at present. Grants totalling £21,758 have been allocated to the group (including £6,160 in supplementary grants payable by Kerry County Council) of which £16,500 has been paid to date. In addition to the usual grants, a special contribution of £20,070 is payable by the county council of which £14,000 has been paid to date.

Further moneys will be paid to the group as they fall due for payment.
