Vol. 309 No. 10

Written Answers. - Aid to Farmers.

310.

asked the Minister for Agriculture why £282,944 of the money voted for aid to farmers in certain less favoured areas of the country in 1977 has not been used up and has had to be surrendered.

The unexpected balance is less than 2 per cent of the provision and represents only a modest saving in relation to the overall amount provided.
