asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs the number of private telephone applications there are for Moreen estate, Sandyford, County Dublin; the date of the earliest such application; and when service will be provided.

There are 19 applications, the earliest of which dates from July 1975. Service will be provided when cabling schemes to serve the estate are completed in the first half of next year.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs what progress has been made in the securing of the consents necessary for a suitable site for a public telephone to serve the Wedgewood and Moreen estates in Sandyford, County Dublin; the location of the site under consideration; and when the kiosk will be provided.

The site proposed for the kiosk has been selected and the consent of the local authority has been sought. The site selected is on Sandyford Road at the entrance to Wedgewood estate. The kiosk will be provided as soon as the consent of the local authority has been obtained.
