Vol. 314 No. 3

Written Answers. - South Tipperary Dental Treatment.

190.

asked the Minister for Health if his attention has been drawn to the long delay involved in securing dental treatment for patients in South Tipperary and the proposals, if any, to rectify the situation.

I am aware that in South Tipperary, as in many parts of the country, patients may experience undue delay in obtaining dental treatment. However persons in need of urgent dental treatment are normally provided with services on the basis of absolute priority.

As I have already indicated, I am preparing a comprehensive development programme for dental services.
