Vol. 315 No. 2

Written Answers. - Cheap Fuel Scheme.

54.

asked the Minister for Social Welfare if he will arrange to have the cheap fuel scheme provided for a person (details supplied).

It has been ascertained that the person concerned has been in hospital for some months and consequently the need for free fuel did not arise in her case during that period.

I have arranged that the local community welfare officer will call on her when she is discharged in order to provide any special assistance which she may require for heating purposes.
