Vol. 315 No. 2

Written Answers. - Dublin Telephone Service.

59.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs if he will arrange to have a telephone service provided for persons (details supplied) in Dublin.

Seven of the 27 applications have already been met and arrangements, already in hands, for meeting a further five will be completed when the present industrial action by the Post Office Workers' Union ends; at that stage terms will be quoted to a further three of the applicants.

It is expected that the remaining applications will be met next year as necessary cabling becomes available.
