Vol. 315 No. 12

Written Answers. - Connacht ESB Connections.

171.

asked the Minister for Industry, Commerce and Energy the number of outstanding applications for ESB connections in each county in Connacht; the average waiting period for each connection; the number of persons presently employed in each county by the board; and the reasons an increased male labour force is not employed to deal with the existing backlog of applications.

I am informed by the Electricity Supply Board that it has not been possible to assemble the information sought by the Deputy in the time available.

However, if the Deputy would like to write to me, I will arrange to have the information conveyed to him as soon as possible.
