The oil import target figures for this country which have been agreed by the Council of the European Communities for the years 1980 and 1985 are 6.5 million tonnes and eight million tonnes respectively. No proposals have yet been made for the years 1981 to 1984 but it can be assumed that they will be based on a graduated annual increase from 1980 onwards.
