Vol. 316 No. 12

Written Answers. - Widow's Pension.

386.

asked the Minister for the Public Service if he is aware that the widow of a former civil servant (details supplied) in Cork who died almost five months ago has not received any State pension to date and if he will arrange for payment of same forthwith.

Notification of the death of the civil servant in question was not received for almost three months. An ex gratia pension was awarded on 24 October 1979 and, after the usual declaration form was signed by the widow, a pension warrant was issued on 13 November 1979.
