Written Answers. - Cork Natural Gas Pipeline.

443.

asked the Minister for Industry, Commerce and Energy the cost of the pipeline for natural gas from Inch Strand, County Cork, to Cork city.

The capital cost of the natural gas pipeline from Inch Strand, County Cork, to the ESB at Marina, Cork city, including the spurlines to service the NET factory at Marino Point and the ESB station being built at Aghada, was approximately £16.5 million. This figure does not include interest and debt servicing charges or the cost of the extension to the Cork Gas Company, which is at present under construction.
