There is no record in my Department or in Meath County Council of the receipt of a new house grant application in this case. As work commenced before 27 May 1977, the £1,000 new house grant would not be payable and as no application was received for a new house grant under the former income related scheme before 31 December 1977, an application could not be considered at this stage.
