asked the Minister for Health the wages of porters and general building operatives in each health board in the form of a reply to a Parliamentary Question on 18 November 1980.

The weekly wage rates for porters employed by health boards are as follows:

In all health boards except the Eastern Health Board, the wage rates for general building operatives are the same as those for general operatives and I would refer the Deputy to my reply to Question No. 323 on Tuesday, 18 November 1980 (Dáil Debates Volume 324, columns 559 & 560) in which the pay rates of general operatives were given. In the case of the Eastern Health Board the weekly wage rates of general building operatives are as follows:
