Total public expenditure, as compiled for national accounts, on social welfare service, expressed as a percentage of gross national product at current market prices, was 10.2 per cent in 1977, 9.9 per cent in 1978, and 10.0 per cent in 1979. Corresponding information is not yet available for 1980.
