asked the Minister for Defence if he will give the types and delivery dates for the aircraft and helicopters which it is proposed to acquire and for which provision has been made in 1981 in subheads 0.1. and 0.2. of the Book of Estimates outlining the information in a form similar to that given in reply to Parliamentary Question No. 366 of 21 October 1980; if the aircraft referred to in that reply have been delivered; and if so, if he will give details.

The Gazelle 342 helicopter has been delivered. Delivery of the replacement Cessna aircraft is due next month and delivery of a leased twin-engined helicopter id due in May 1981. Evaluation of a suitable type of twin-engined helicopter for use with the new generation naval patrol vessels is continuing.
