Vol. 326 No. 12

Written Answers. - Regional Airports' Status.

278.

andMr. Deasy asked the Minister for Transport if it is intended that the regional airports to be established in Donegal and elsewhere will be profit-making or will be maintained on the basis of a State subsidy or be guaranteed against losses.

State assistance is being provided towards the capital costs of regional airports approved by the Government. It is not proposed that State subsidy on guarantees against losses at these airports should be provided.
