asked the Minister for Education when work will commence on the new primary school at Crossmahon, Bandon, County Cork.

I understand from the Commissioners of Public Works that tenders have been invited for the building of the proposed new primary school at Crossmahon, Bandon, County Cork.

Consideration of the tenders will be a matter for the Commissioners of Public Works who are my Department's technical advisers in matters relating to national school building. It is my intention that the building of this school shall commence as soon as possible.
