The full amount of the grant will be paid in this case if and when it is established that the work was satisfactorily completed on or before 30 June 1981, and a further inspection for this purpose will be carried out as soon as possible. House improvement grants under Part Three of the Housing Regulations, 1980 (as amended) are payable only if all the work necessary to bring the house up to the required standard had been completed on or before 30 June 1981. Payment of an instalment cannot, therefore, now be made.

There is no record in the Department of an application from the person named. Applications for reconstruction and water and sewerage grants were, however, received from two persons of the same address but with different Christian names. If the Deputy confirms the name under which the application in question was made I will let him know the position.
