These proposed schemes are dependent for their supply on the South Leitrim Regional Water supply Scheme Stage 2. Augmentation works are being carried out on this scheme at present and it is expected that water will be available to these groups in 12-18 months time. In the meantime a number of the smaller groups are being advised to amalgamate into a larger group and all groups are being advised to have designs prepared and submitted to the Department.

(3) Proposed Schemes the number of houses for which are not yet finalised

Gubadoorish — Leitrim County Council have been asked if they are in a position to give the group a supply of water and to date a reply has not been received.

Kilcoon and Ardvarney—The County Council were asked if they could give these groups a supply of water but they have indicated that because of the already high demand in this area they are not in a position to give them a supply at present.

Stonepark, Lattoon, Corlea and Stradrina—The designs for these schemes have been approved by both the Department and the County Council and quotations for materials and labour are awaited from the groups.

Bohey, Middle Wardhouse, Aughavanny and Lower Annagh/Eden—These schemes are being designed at present and copies of the design and design data are awaited in the Department.

Clenaghoo—The County Council were asked to give this group a connection to the Council's mains but they have indicated that they are not in a position to do so. The group have been advised to seek an alternative source.

Erriff—Grants will be reallocated on the basis of the higher rates recently introduced as soon as Leitrim County Council indicate that they are satisfied with certain legal aspects of the scheme.

asked the Minister for the Environment if he will arrange to have a sewerage grant paid to a person (details supplied) in County Cork.

A £582 reconstruction grant has already been paid in this case. A sewerage grant was, however, not approved but in view of the Deputy's question the file has again been referred to the Department's inspector for further examination.
