asked the Minister for Social Welfare with reference to the reply to Parliamentary Question No. 290 of Wednesday 9 February 1983, if he will give a breakdown of the number of persons registered as unemployed in the Tallaght area of County Dublin: (a) the number of unemployed males, (b) the number of unemployed females, (c) the number of unemployed persons under 21 and (d) the number of unemployed under 18.

The breakdown of the 3,237 persons registered as unemployed in the Tallaght area, County Dublin, on 28 January 1983 is as follows:— (a) 2,537 males; (b) 700 females; (c) 147 males and 108 females under 21 years of age, including (d) 18 males and six females under 18 years of age.
