I assume that the Deputy is referring to a five year capital development programme for the health services.
I am still examining the capital programme of the Department from the point of view of existing commitments, available resources, the priorities of the health agencies, and particularly the impact of projects on revenue expenditure. I am also having discussions with the health boards in relation to major projects proposed in the acute hospital area. Decisions on these will be made as early as possible, including budgetary projections of expenditure in the context of a medium-term capital programme.
