asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs if he will arrange to have a telephone service provided for a person (details supplied) in County Kilkenny as the application has been made for some time; and when service will be provided.

Terms have been quoted to the person named and service will be provided within about three months after the necessary agreement has been signed.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs when a telephone service will be provided for a person (details supplied) in Dublin 9.

Service will be provided as soon as possible but it is unlikely that the necessary engineering work will be completed before the end of this year.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs when a telephone will be installed for a person (details supplied) in Dublin 3 as she applied in March 1980.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs the number of applications for telephones outstanding in the Dublin 3 area.

Records are not kept in such a way as to allow the information sought to be provided readily.

Dublin 3 area is served largely by North Main and Clontarf exchanges which also serve other areas. The numbers of applications on hands at these exchanges at the end of March 1983 were: North Main, 2,250; Clontarf, 375.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs when the telephone at Ring Street, Inchicore, Dublin 8 will be connected as the telephone box was erected some time ago.

The kiosk at Ring Street will be brought into service as soon as possible after the necessary engineering equipment becomes available.

724.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs the reasons a suitable telephone service cannot be provided for a person (details supplied) in County Dublin; and if he will arrange to have the telephones concerned connected to the new telephone exchange at Nangor Road, Clondalkin, County Dublin.

The telephone service to the named subscriber is subject to occasional congestion at Clondalkin telephone exchange. Relief will be provided when a new replacement exchange is brought into operation early next year.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs when a telephone service will be provided for persons (details supplied) in County Dublin.

It is expected that service will be provided within about a month.
