The proposed north Westmeath group water scheme is dependent for a water supply on stage 2 of the Castlepollard regional water supply scheme. Contract documents for the regional scheme were approved by my Department in November 1982, and Westmeath County Council are seeking tenders for carrying out that scheme. I cannot at this stage say when the group water scheme will reach the residence referred to by the Deputy.
