Grants under my Department's youth employment scheme may be made available to local community groups to employ young people on works beneficial to the local community. The question of awarding a grant to carry out work at Maghery, County Donegal, to safeguard the local sportsfield from erosion, will be considered if an application is received from a local committee who would be interested in employing young people to undertake this work.
