asked the Minister for Finance if he is prepared to give urgent and favourable consideration to the tax arrangements of a proposal for a major development in this country by an organisation (details supplied) which must shortly decide whether to locate the project here or in another country where its requirements can be met; if he is aware that the loss of this development to this country would be a serious loss to our economy and in particular to our balance of payments; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
