asked the Minister for Justice if he is aware of the concern among the people of Rosslare Strand, County Wexford, that sufficient gardaí are not available in the area; and if he will ensure the presence of at least one garda at all times.

Limerick East): The detailed deployment of Garda manpower is a matter for the Garda authorities who report that an additional garda will shortly be assigned to Rosslare Strand station to meet any increased demands on Garda services during the summer season. Apart from the service provided from the local station, the Rosslare Strand area also receives attention from mobile patrols operated by uniform and plainclothes units based at the divisional headquarters at Wexford.
