The balance of the grant approved in this case cannot be paid as, contrary to a provision of the Housing Regulations, 1980 (as amended), notification of completion of work and a claim for payment of the grant were not received in my Department by 30 June 1981.

An application for a house improvement grant under the old scheme in this case has been rejected because, contrary to a provision of the Housing Regulations, 1980 (as amended), notification of completion of work and a claim for payment of the grant were not received in my Department by 30 June 1981.
